She is a Brazilian visual artist whose work moves between abstraction and matter, intensely exploring textures, natural elements and organic processes. With an attentive eye to the small transformations that shape the landscape and the human being, Maria investigates, through painting, the relationship between fragility and resistance, permanence and impermanence.
